Retake a Course for a New Certificate

Certificates are valid for 24 months. When it's time to recertify, retake the course to earn a fresh certificate.

Steps

1. Open the course page for the course you completed.
2. Click Retake course.
3. Work through the slides, pass the Final Quiz, and complete the Post-Course Evaluation, just like the first time.

You'll receive a new certificate with a new issue date. Your original certificate stays on your Certificates page too.

Next Steps / Troubleshooting

• Retaking requires current course access through your team's subscription or an assignment, the same as starting any course.
• Your previous attempts and certificates remain listed in the history on the course page.
