Starting Your First Course

Ready to earn CEUs? Here's how to start a course and how the course player works.

Prerequisites

Course access comes from one of the following. An active team subscription, a bundle or course assigned to you by your manager, or a trial. If none apply, the course page will say "Assignment required" and your manager will need to assign the course, or you can subscribe or purchase a bundle.

Steps

1. Open the course. Find it in the course catalog, or click it from an assignment on your Activity page.
2. Click Start Course.
3. Watch each slide. Videos play in order, and the next slide unlocks when the current one finishes. The sidebar shows your progress, like "3 of 12 complete".
4. Use the arrow buttons to move between slides. Answer any practice questions that appear between slides. They're ungraded knowledge checks.
5. After the last slide, take the Final Quiz. Answer each question and click Submit Answer. You'll see feedback after each answer.
6. Pass the quiz, then click Get certificate and complete the short Post-Course Evaluation survey.
7. Click Submit Survey for Certificate. Your certificate is ready to Download or Print right from the completion page.

Next Steps / Troubleshooting

• Your progress saves automatically as you watch. Leave any time and pick up where you left off from the Activity page.
• You can review material with the Transcript section below any slide that has one.
• Didn't pass the quiz? No problem. Click Retry quiz and try again. There's no limit on attempts. The results page tells you the score you need to pass.
• You can only progress through one course at a time. Starting a second course pauses the first. See Resume a Paused Course.
